Daughters of Terra is the first book in the Ta’e’sha Chronicles series by Theolyn Boese. This is a very intense book. I have re-read it several times and I am still not sure if I really like it or not. I enjoyed the love story between Thea and Kyrin and Daeshen. The sex scenes between them in all combinations are erotic and well written. I did not enjoy the references to rape and some of the more intense scenes between Thea and the villain. I also did not like the outcome of those scenes. Theolyn Boese has an intriguing premise and a writing style that I did enjoy but there is an overlying element to the story that overshadowed my enjoyment.
