Grey has been sent to retrieve Rome and bring him back to the pack. Rome is not too happy about being knocked out and dragged home by the one of the only two weres that he has ever cared about. When he got home and found out what the pack Alphas had planned and why they brought him home, he was furious, right along with Grey. The plan was for Grey to get Mia pregnant. The problem is that Grey has always only had eyes for Rome and everyone knows it. Rome has always liked Mia and loved Grey. When Grey turned him away the last time, he turned to Mia in his emotional pain. Right after making love to Mia, Rome left the Pack. Now, the Pack needs Rome back to unite with Mia and Grey. It is unusual for weres to bond or unite in threes, but after substantial persuading by both Mia and Grey and the explosive sexual chemistry that exists between them, Rome stays.

The problem is that there have been other offers for Mia as she is the only breedable female within many miles.  And with the lack of were pups is very valuable to any Pack that can acquire her by fair or foul means. This causes Grey and Rome problems as they are faced with others that are upset with the potential loss of this valuable commodity as they see it. There are other problems that face this triad as they try to start their unique family that stem from Rome's past and his low self esteem and belief that he is not fully were and therefore not fully worthy in the eyes of his pack. As all three bond, which is unique and astounding in and of itself, you see each of them come out of their shells and heal from past wounds.

Alpha 3:  Home is a wonderfully written, family or in this case, pack-oriented story that will pull you in and enthrall you from front cover to the last word written. I highly recommend that you read the first two books as they help set up this one and will explain the intricate pack structure and relationships. Treva Harte creates an intricate plot that includes danger, suspense, lust, love, intense sexual chemistry, loyalty, and desire. I highly recommend the Alpha series and have had a great time following these wonderfully loyal and intense Packs filled with testosterone and sexual energy. If you are looking for a great plot to go along with your erotica, Treva Harte delivers with Alpha 3:  Home. Although Alpha 3:  Home does stand alone, I believe you will understand and enjoy it more if you read the books that come before it Alpha 2:  Stay and Alpha 1:  Walk Away.
