Chloe Richards was having a bad day when she met Audra Phelan.  When a series of mishaps leads her to losing her job, she’s more open than she normally would be when approached by Ms. Phelan to procure an artifact for the Collector.  When her search leads her to her ex-husband, Drake Marsters, she tries to accept that she’s reached a dead end because when they parted, it was not on the best of terms.  But maybe fate has a different plan and it’s worth a shot?

With great characters and an intriguing storyline, I really wanted to love Magical Chances.  It was apparent while reading it that Mechele Armstrong had some fantastic ideas running through her head but I believe that some of it didn't translate into her writing.  I loved Drake and wished that he and Chloe had never been separated but it’s the tragedy that makes a love story so great, right?  With a fast-paced storyline, interesting characters, and hot chemistry, Magical Chances provided me with hours of entertainment.
