When Seth’s band, an ‘80’s band named Blue Silver decides to play a reunion tour, he couldn’t be more surprised when his ex-wife Cassie calls him, asking if he’ll add a city to their tour. He’d do anything to see her again but if Cassie knew how he felt about her and what he wanted, she’d run, far and long. Cassie misses Seth and while he’s been clean of drugs for six years, she’s not sure if she can risk messing up her organized life for the thrill of being with him again. When they were married, Cassie and Seth were strangers. If it wasn’t the drugs or the alcohol, is was the stress of appearances. Their divorce was ugly and painful and the thirteen years since they’d last seen each other, difficult. Natalie J. Damschroder is on my must-read list and Blue Silver: Lost Our Forever is a perfect example as to why. Her ability to capture the emotions of her characters and create such deep and meaningful relationships full of so much heat and sensuality is quickly elevating her status to that of an erotica diva. While I have enjoyed all of the books in the Blue Silver series, I felt this one was exceptionally well written and very moving. I highly recommend reading it. Note: The Blue Silver series does not need to be read in order as all five stories take place simultaneously, from perspectives of the primary characters.
